Ahh ok, the logo makes sense now
Hi! I’m Drew. I’m an animator / motion designer, producer, creative director, and “can doer” of all things creative. Currently, I'm a Graphics Editor and Producer for The New York Times Visual Investigations team. As a ground floor member of the team i’ve been key in our visual identity and involved in a wealth of our award winning, landmark projects. Some of these honors include Pulitzer Prizes in 2020 and 2002, 6 Emmy Awards and various nominations between 2018 to 2022, a Peabody Award in 2022, and a Malofiej Gold in 2021.
I’ve been fortunate to work in a gamut of media platforms throughout my career. Commercial photo illustrator, travel photographer, web designer, videographer, creative director, motion designer, and producer are the predominant “hats i’ve worn”. This digital diversity has afforded me a real insight into all aspects of media production. It helps me appreciate the work and abilities of my team mates or clients while allowing me to formulate appropriate project goals and needs. This range of rolls has also afforded me a pretty big creative software toolset.
I take pride in ingenuity and problem solving. A varied career has really helped me manage the challenges that arise when balancing the creative, analytical, and logistical needs of a project.
give me a shout.
